This course aims to enhance project risk management skills in an environment of uncertainty. Both upsides and downsides risk are addressed. It also addresses the impact of human influences and attitudes on the decision-making process during the various project phases. Risk responses and probabilistic techniques for dealing with cost and schedule uncertainty are also addressed.

In the light of upside and downside risks, the course also looks at the trade-offs between time, cost and other project attributes when determining the appropriate risk response.
